Week 1 (Fundamentals)
Orient yourself in Morningstar Direct and pick up basic skills like creating lists, searches, and custom data sets. Build a performance report for peer group analysis and fund selection.
Week 2 (Reporting)
Create compelling presentations or PDFs to communicate your findings and tell your investment story. Monitor and analyze broad investor trends across multiple geographical markets, investment types, and channels. Design unique data points for use when analyzing and reporting on investments.
Week 3 (Analysis)
Create and manage model portfolios for monitoring and analysis. Identify the effects of a manager's investment decisions and strategic asset allocation.
Week 4 (Additional Skills)
Get daily coverage of the investment research and fund evaluations that are most relevant to your work. Create alerts on investments, portfolios, category changes and more to curate a feed of up-to-date information.
