1) Can I submit sample data through?
2) Can I submit all funds and share classes on the one collection form?
All funds can be submitted in a single data collection form.
3) Do I need to provide PDFs for each TMD or can I share hyperlinks to the TMDs?
Hyperlinks are perfectly fine. There is a spot for a permalink to the PDF in the data template.
4) How soon after submitting the information would it flow through to the distributors?
Typically it takes a few hours once a document or data is added to our database and reviewed by our internal quality checks and processes to be then made available. Additionally, Morningstar solutions provide the output in a URL format which can be accessed by the clients anytime so the delivery of the information to the client depends on how often the clients access our Document Library and Data Feed solutions.
5) Will Morningstar be capturing any review trigger information to generate alerts?
Since we are incorporating the review trigger and status information in a data feed, we have been working closely with our clients to ensure they have put processes in place to track any change in these data sets.
6) Will Morningstar be providing reporting back to product issuers?
Morningstar’s solution is catering towards a distribution of data and documents from the Issuers and onto Distributors. We will not be providing any reporting back from the Distributors to the Issuers. The below workflow goes through the Morningstar DDO solution.
