Wonder Women: Why Defined-Contribution Plans Benefit from Female Plan Administrators

Wednesday, March 10th

1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. CST

Diversity is a topic of growing interest within the business world. Not only is diversity good from a social perspective, but past research1 has shown that diverse companies are more successful than those that aren’t. In this webinar, we will discuss new research that explores how gender representation has changed from 2000 to 2017 among defined-contribution plan administrators as well as the respective relationship between gender and plan quality.

We will also be joined by three female retirement plan administrators who will share their perspectives on the research and help us understand why the correlation between plan administrator gender and plan quality exists.

Speakers:

  • Chris Weirath, SVP, Global Account Management, Morningstar Investment Management LLC
  • Julie Varga, VP, Investment and Product Specialist, Morningstar Investment Management LLC
  • Denise Faggella, CEBS, FRTIB Program Executive, Accenture Federal Services
  • Samia Khan, CFA, Senior Manager of Investment Management, PwC LLP
  • Suzanne Carroll, JD, CFA, Director Treasury, Amgen

This webinar is pending acceptance from the CFP® Board and Fi360 for one continuing education (CE) credit for AIF®, AIFA®, PPC®, and CFP® Designations.
